HND Month has started strong and we’re pleased to announce that Jonathan Hailey of Kirkby Lonsdale Newspapers has won the first major competition prize, an E Bike worth over £1,100.
Jonathan said “I’m delighted to have won the E Bike. As home news delivery accounts for 90% of our newspaper sales, HND month is an excellent initiative that significantly supports us and other newsagents. It not only helps us promote our home delivery services in town and small villages within a 10-mile radius from the shop, but also strengthens our connection with the community and gives employment to newspaper boys and girls to provide them with some extra cash.”
The photos show Jonathan and the route they take seven days a week in the van, delivering to all the outer villages.
