National publisher retail calls to selected Morrisons Daily stores in West Sussex this week (Haywards Heath, Hassocks, Brighton, Hove & Storrington) have found that their store level support for HND month is excellent.
All stores had a strong HND Month point of sale presence via metre long shelf barkers, smaller shelf strips & large header cards above the news & magazine stands – all providing real ‘stand out’ for the promotion and their own supporting offer.
Store staff were fully aware of the promotion mechanic, M Daily are offering and self funding, 4 weeks free delivery for all newspapers & magazines and store manager Sean at their Richardson Road, Hove branch which has 6 HND rounds was firmly in favour of the promotion.
HND month pos was in place, leaflets have been distributed, non HND customers were being advised of the offer, they have gained 2 NEW HND accounts to date and with the inclement weather & shorter days looming Sean is hopeful for several more.
